Simeon Asahel and his wife are buried at Waterdown/Fetterly Cemetery, but Simeon's father Asahel Hough is buried at the Hough family burial ground on their farm (pictured here).
Asahel Hough (1809-1888) was the son of Samuel Hough (1773-1848) and Elizabeth Kentner (1782-1865), my fourth great grandparents. Asahel inherited his father's farm in 1848 by Will dated 1 Dec. 1847, probated 21 Aug. 1848. The farm was situated at the rear half of Lot 7, Concession 3, Osnabruck Township, Stormont County, with a family burial ground on the west corner. This is where many of the early Hough family members are buried.
