Daniel Fate Warlick, age 84, of Leesville, SC, and formerly of Converse, SC, died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Columbia.
Native of Spartanburg County, son of Robert Warlick (1869-1951) and Mandy Jane Freeman Warlick (1900–1955), widower of Ava Lou Allen Warlick (1931–1990).
Retired textile employee; member of Clifton Church of God.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Warlick of Spartanburg; two sisters, Lillian Justice of Gastonia, NC, Helen Hilton of Mt. Holly, NC; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
The family received friends 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, August 1, 2002 at Clifton Church of God.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2002 at the church, conducted by the Revs. Wendell Scruggs and Paul Tessnear. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
