He and his first wife, Margaret Braley were married in or around Branson, Missouri on Dec. 18, 1902. She preceded him in death on March 27, 1944. To this union were born 4 children who include Mrs. Ora O. Brown Surber, who resides in San Gabriel, California; Roy Brown of Clayton; Mrs. Hess Beckner of Clayton; and Lloyd Brown.
His second wife. Grace Cook and he were married Aug. 22, 1947. She and his children survive him in death.
His parents were Richard Merrian Brown and Martha Goodson Brown.
