Ronald J. Kunz, age 62, of 12104 Saxonburg Road, town of Mishicot, died
Friday afternoon, January 21, 2000, at his residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 2,
2000, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. Rev. John Neuser will
officiate with burial in Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery, Mishicot.
Ron was born August 26, 1937, in Francis Creek, son of the late Ladimir
and Dorothy Belonger Kunz. He has been a lifelong area resident. He was
a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. Ron married the former
Mary Bohman on September 10, 1958, at Holy Cross Catholic Church,
Mishicot. He was employed for many years with the Manitowoc Engineering
Company as a specialist machinist. He retired in 1997. Mr. Kunz was a
racing enthusiast and enjoyed participating in many local motorcycle
charity rides. He was an outdoor enthusiast and enjoyed camping and
hunting. He was also an avid reader.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters and sons-in-law,
Rosemary and Paul Krajnik, Mishicot, Marjorie and Jeffrey Senfleben,
Richfield, Wis.; two sons, Patrick Kunz and his special friend, Dawn
Hanson, Francis Creek, Francis “Fran” Kunz, Two Rivers; seven grandsons,
Matthew, Andrew, Adam, David, Kevin, and Jason Krajnik and Brandon
Senfleben; one brother, Richard Kunz, Manitowoc; one sister and
brother-in-law, Marilynn and Robert Pantel, Medford, Ore.;
brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends. He was also preceded in death by one grandchild.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Lambert
Funeral Home, Mishicot. There will be a 7 p.m. parish Wake Service at
the funeral home. Visitation will continue after 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at
the funeral home before the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
