Alvin Daniel Edinger, 71, Route 1, De Pere, died Wednesday evening at a local hospital.
The son of the late Louis and Bertha Otto Edinger was born July 5, 1913 in the Township of Glenmore.
On Oct. 30, 1938 he married Frances Meyer. He farmed 46 years at Route 1, De Pere.
Survivors are his wife, Frances; three sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Jean, Brillion; Mel and Donna, Brillion; Leroy and Patty, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Evie and Doug Treichel, Route 2, Greenleaf; one brother and sister-in-law, Norbert and Pat, Route 1, De Pere; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Edward Jahnke, Route 1, Maribel; Verna and Gilbert Brandenburg, Route 2, Greenleaf; Ruth and Herbert Pantzlaff, De Pere; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce; one son, Raymond; two brothers, Arthur and Clarence.
Friends may call at Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison, from 4 p.m. Friday until 1 1 a.m. Saturday and after noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Shirley until time of service. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Saturday, at the church, the Rev. Wallace Gaulke officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
