Odis W. Killingsworth, 74, a resident of Lovington, NM for the past 26 years, was born May 17, 1921 in Wellington, TX. He married Annie Louise Mason July 17, 1942 in Brownfield, TX. He served in the US Army in World War II and had been an employee of General Telephone Company for 35 years until his retirement in 1982.

He had been a member of the VFW at Wellington and served on the Volunteer Fire Departments at Wellington and Matador. He was a carpenter and a mason. He was a ham radio operator. He was a member of Jackson Avenue Baptist Church. He enjoyed camping, playing the guitar, listening to music, and watching baseball and football.

Survivors include his wife, Louise of the home; four daughters: Gwen Reagan and husband Phil of Tahoka, TX; Janie Rodman of Lubbock, TX; Gina Fort and husband Max of Lovington; Gay Jones and husband Richard of Lubbock, TX; three sisters: Opal Melton and Ola B. Tice, both of Ft. Worth , TX, and Ona Skeyhan of Kingman, AZ; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
