Geneva Collins, 84, of Russellville, AR, passed away Friday, June 10, 2016 at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville, AR. The daughter of Clarence and Alma (McAlister) Griffin, she was born October 5, 1931 in London, AR. She married Lewis Collins, on October 21, 1949 at the Pope County Court House in Russellville, AR.
Geneva was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and shopping at flea markets and garage sales. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Norma Kay Davis.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Lewis Collins of Russellville; three children, Randy Collins and wife Ella of Dover, Carol Hurlbut and husband Mike of Russellville, Mike Collins and wife Leslie of Dover; four grandchildren, Casey Collins of Dover, Courtney Hudson and husband Matt of Russellville, Spencer Hurlbut of Russellville, and Dalton Lewis and wife Rachel of Mountain View; sister, Lavada Storment of Upland, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
