Brooks Bogardus died very suddenly last night at the home of his son, Jacob Bogardus, in East Tompkins street. Mr. Bogardus was 78 years old and his death came as a shock to his son with whom he had been talking but ten minutes before the end came. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. R.T. Jones, D.D., officiating. Interment will be made in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
