"Historic Linwood Cemetery," compiled by Dolores Autry, Volume 1 (edited by Lea L. Dowd & Carol Johnson), p. 161, shows in Section A, Lot 268 of Linwood Cemetery: Mary P. REYNOLDS, born (unable to read) 1815, died (unable to read), wife of (unable to read), daughter of Benjamin & Adeline [FOARD) REYNOLDS [apparently, much of the inscription on this grave marker had become illegible, probably due to weathering, and some of this rendering appears to be in error].
The monument appears to say: "MARY _______ / wife ? of ? / ________________ (last name could be something like KELLY or NEELY) ? / daughter of / BENJ. H. & ADELINE / P. REYNOLDS / died Nov. (? or Dec.?) 10 ? 1845 ? / in the 22nd year / of her age"
This grave does not seem to be included in the listing from a 1943 survey of Linwood Cemetery by the LDS Southern States Mission.
The following newspaper notice was kindly provided by Callie McGinnis, Assistant Director of the Historic Linwood Foundation: "DIED, // Suddenly, yesterday, at the residence of John MANGHAM, Esq[uire], in this city, Mrs. PAULINE ELLIS, aged about 20, daughter of Mr. B.
