Mrs. Gordon Levenhagen, 51, of Randolph Street, Mishicot, died Thursday morning
at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital, following a lingering illness. Funeral services
will be at 1:30 pm Saturday at Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, Mishicot.
The Rev. Lorenz Kern will officiate and burial will be in Mishicot Public
Cemetery.
Mrs. Levenhagen, nee Grace Mueller, was born Feb. 23, 1915, daughter of the late
Wilbert Mueller and Frieda Bruhn Mueller. She attended Saxonburg Elementary
School and was graduated from Mishicot Public High School in 1933. She attended
beauty culture school at Milwaukee and for several years was assistant manager
of the Little Paris Beauty Shop,Two Rivers. She worked for many years at the Dairy
Bar, Mishicot, until her illness.
She was married to Gordon Levenhagen Aug. 24, 1940 at Dubuque, Iowa and the couple
resided at Mishicot. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church
where she served as organist many years. She was a member of the church's Ladies
Aid Society, a former president of Mishicot Public School's Parent Teacher Assn.,
and active in school affairs.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Carol, Linda, Nancy and a son,
Leon, at home; mother of Rt. 1, Mishicot; a brother, Paul Mueller of Rt. 1,
Mishicot; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur (Hazel) Edwards of Monroe, Mrs. Roger (Etta)
Zuehl of Two Rivers and Mrs. John (Edith) Black of Lancaster, Pa. Friends may call
