Loren D. Hauck Died in California. Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 1:30 p.m. in the Greenlawn Southwest Memorial chapel, Bakersfield, CA, for Loren D. Hauck, 63, who died Feb. 13, 1994 at Bakersfield. Dr. Greg Horn officiated and interment was in Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park. Mr. Hauck died of cancer.

Loren was born Aug. 15, 1930 in Oakhill, KS and had resided in Kern County for 17 years. He was a graduate of Delphos High School. He served in the U.S. Navy as an AM2. After leaving the Navy he worked in Kansas, then in the aerospace industry in California. He later opened a door closure business in Gardena. He became an insurance broker in Fresno and Bakersfield and operated his own firm for twenty years. He was a pilot and loved flying.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. and Effie M. Hauck; two brothers, Victor and Lowell; twin brother, Loris B. Hauck; and two brothers-in-law, Joseph Sheridan and Rodney Collier.

Survivors include his wife Betsy L. Hauck of Bakersfield; step-daughter, Elizabeth Brase, Fresno; brother, LaVern Hauck, Torrance; sisters and brothers-in-law, Leota and Gordon Singer, Coalinga; Anna and Robert Odell, Garden Grove and Althea Collier, Shreveport, LA; mother-in-law, Ann Addison, Bakersfield; sister-in-law, Nancy Ansolabehere, Bakersfield; and many nieces and nephews who loved him.
Pallbearers were Darrin Stine, Kent Perkins, Mike Sceales, Gilbert Ansolabehere, Larry Leonard and Robert Lumis. Honorary pallbearers were Deryl Stine, Dale Skilling and Ross Loren Hauck.

Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
