DUNDEE -- Mrs. Myrtle Avis Cramer Latham of Dundee died of congestive heart failure Monday (March 6, 2006) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 82.

Mrs. Latham was born July 26, 1923, Takoma Park, Md. She owned Latham Realty. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1152, Winter Haven, and Sertoma International Organization. She served as president of the Dundee Chamber of Commerce. She attended Dundee Baptist Church.

Mrs. Latham was preceded by her husband, Paul Latham. She is survived by her daughters, Avis L. Vaught, The Villages, Debi L. Daniels, Dundee, and Pamela L. Vickrey, Virginia Beach, Va.; son, Jimmy V. Latham, Dundee; brother, Martin V. Cramer, Plymouth; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Dundee Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wachovia Dundee Branch to benefit the Myrtle Memorial Bench.
