She is survived by her husband, Ray; son, Mike Goodwin; daughters, Cyndi Goodwin and Alyson Kite and husband, Lindsey; sister, Terry Oehm and husband, Hank, all residents of Albuquerque; brother, Jeff and wife, Jo of Tucson, AZ; stepchildren, Becky, Alan, Barbara, and Ray; grandchildren, Jennifer Martinez of Fort Collins, CO, and Brooke Cromwell of Albuquerque; great-grandchild, Joey of Albuquerque; niece, Elena Giacci and husband, Gary; nephew, David Giacci; dog, Mulligan and cats, Wesley and Aggie Doone, also residents of Albuquerque.
Although born in Tularosa, Mrs. Carter lived all of her life in Albuquerque. She loved to collect matchbooks, but her passion was collecting owls--her home is a testament to this collection. Mrs. Carter was a loving wife and mother, a good friend, and will be missed by all who knew her.
