Memorial services for Lois L. (Krebs) Ledenican, 78, of Hambden Township, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Chardon United Methodist Church, 515 North St., Chardon.
Mrs. Ledenican died May 11, 2008, at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital in Claridon Township.
Born April 26, 1930, in Euclid, she had lived in Willoughby before moving to Hambden Township in 1973.
She was an avid golfer, reader and very talented artist. While in Lake City, Fla., she was very active in the local garden club.
Mrs. Ledenican and her husband were the owners/operators of Terrance Glen Estates in Hambden Township since 1973.
Survivors are her sons, Daniel (Betsy) Ledenican of Hambden Township and Richard Ledenican of Eastlake; daughter, LaVerne Ledenican of Cambridge; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Glotzbecker of Cincinnati.
Her husband, Louis R. Ledenican, whom she married Nov. 28, 1953, in Euclid, died July 6, 2003. Her parents, Elmer and Mary Krebs; and brother, Donald Krebs, are also deceased.
Friends may call immediately following the service in the parlor of the church. The Rev. Henry Woodruff, Ph.D. of the church will officiate the service. Private family burial will be in Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Ohio Northern Region, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
Arrangements are being handled by the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Chardon.

HER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW:
Betsy Jo Ledenican, age 62, of Aurora, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dan Ledenican; and two wonderful children, Megan of Roanoke, Va. and Mitchell and daughter-in-law to be, Kittie Widmann of Kent, Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jan and Ron Badertscher of Smithville , Ohio, Becky (Ree) and Darry Thomas of Mansfield, Ohio; and three nieces and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clare (Sunny) and Evelyn (Evie) Swan; and father and mother-in-law, Louis and Lois Ledenican.
Betsy was a teacher in the Lorain, Chardon and West Geauga School Systems. She enjoyed working at the Chardon United Methodist Church and Rosepointe Cottage Tea Room in Chardon and the Greenbridge Teahouse in Twinsburg.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 22, at 3 p.m. at the Hudson United Methodist Church, 2600 Hudson Aurora Road, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials to The American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106 or VNA Hospice, 2500 E. 22nd St,. Cleveland, OH 44115 or the Memorial Fund at the Hudson United Methodist Church.
