Mrs. Dan Farmer of Raleigh Dies
Mrs. Emma Gertrude Farmer, 76, widow of Dan Farmer and a resident of Raleigh, died at 8 a.m. today. She is survived by her son Charley Farmer and her daughter Mrs. Delmar (Lorena) Feazel, both of Raleigh, and another daughter, Mrs. Cloyd (Estella) Wesley, Bradley. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Lawrence Giscumb, Eldorado; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Cliford Farmer and Orville Farmer preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Raleigh Baptist church with Rev. Clayton Humphrey assisted by Rev. C. E. Russell officiating. Burial will be in the Raleigh Masonic cemetery.
