MARY PUTA
Mrs. August Puta, 66, of the village of Mishicot, died of a heart attack at her home Tuesday morning. She is the former Mary Leiterman of Manitowoc Rapids and was born there in 1885, the daughter of Frank Leiterman and Theresa Fischer Leiterman. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 am Thursday athe Specht Funeral Home, Mishicot and at 10 am at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Rev. George Beth will officiate and burial will be in Holy Cross Church cemetery.
Mary Leiterman was married in 1904 to August Puta who formerly operated a farm in the Town of Mishicot and is now retired. Also surviving are three sons, William of Two Rivers and Clarence and Archie of Mishicot. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. William Sprang of the Town of Two Rivers and Mrs. Hugo Benzinger of the Town of Mishicot; two brothers, Joseph Leiterman of Manitowoc Rapids and Frank Leiterman of Two Rivers and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Mishicot funeral home where the rosary will be recited at 8:30 pm Wednesday.
