Gauger, Charlotte M.

Charlotte M. Gauger, age 62, of Manitowoc passed away peacefully in her sleep, Tuesday evening, June 14, 2016, at the Manitowoc Health & Rehabilitation Center.

The former Charlotte Gauger was born on September 16, 1954, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Paul and Violet (Cisler) Gauger. She worked for the Mirro Company for 30 ½ years and also worked as a pet groomer. Charlotte enjoyed crocheting, watching TV, going to Pow-Wows, being surrounded by loved ones and dog grooming. She was known for her love for small dogs.

She is survived by her son: William G. Ornelas, Two Rivers; seven grandchildren: Miguel; Mariah; Houston; Zack; Audrey; Ramiro; Kiera; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Carol Lynn Gauger, Chilton; Lori Ann (Darryl) Malvitz, Green Bay, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Paul and Violet Gauger; three brothers: infant Brian Gauger; Paul Gauger; John Gauger.

Charlotte's wishes were to be cremated with no formal services and burial of her cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the family. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com

She was loved by many, helped many, and had many "adopted" children that looked up to her like their own mother and we all loved her the same.

Quote from her son William: "When you lose everything and gain nothing that's life, but when you have nothing and gain everything that's reality."
