Mr. Myers was born in Clinton county, near Cyclone, on May 20, 1894. He was the son of Samuel and Martha (Goebel) Myers, and on June 11, 1918, was married to Edna Snowden. A veteran of World War I, he spent several years working for the Nickel Plate railroad, and worked for 25 years with the Frankfort city school, retiring as a maintenance man about five years ago.
He is survived by his widow; his son, Gerald L. Myers; one sister, Mrs. Elmer Ham of Frankfort route 5, and five grandchildren. One son, Garnell Wayne Myers, was killed in service in 1949. A sister and five brothers preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday in the Goodwin Funeral home, Frankfort, with the Rev. Floyd McClain officiating. Burial was in Bunnell cemetery.
