Mrs. Mattie Pearl Allen Fraser, 91, widow of Humphrey Fraser and a resident of the Athendale community, died Saturday afternoon at the Hillview Haven Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Funeral service for Mrs. Fraser were conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Oakes and Nichols Funeral home with the Rev. R.E. Stevenson, minister of the Godwin- Chappell Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Godwin-Chappell Cemetery.

A native of Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Milt E. and Eugenia Hanks Allen. She was a member of the Godwin Chappell Methodist Church.

Survivors include one daNavy, and Dr. John Rodney Blair of Memphis; seven great-grandchildren and one niece, Mrs. Marvin (Winnie) Crowe of Columbia.

Pallbearers were her grandsons.
