Mrs. Anna Baynes Funeral services for Mrs. Anna A. Baynes, widow of George W. Baynes, were held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John J. Gawkins, 1200 N. James St., this morning at. 8:45 o'clock.

A solemn requiem high mass was celebrated at 9:30 in St. Peter's Church, with the Rev. John J. Burke as celebrant; the Rev. J. R. Quigley as a deacon, and the Rev. James K. Bennett, pastor of St. Leo's Church. Holland Patent, as sub-deacon. Also in the sanctuary were the Rev. Victor F. Ciciarelli, pastor of St. John the Baptist Church, the Rev. James E. Woulfe, assistant pastor at St. John the Baptist; the Rev. Richard Burns, Rochester, and the Rev. Thomas Hayes of St. Francis de Sales Church of Utica. Bearers were William Baynes, Harry Hayes, Thomas Hurley, Ronald Dunn of Oneida, Timothy V. O'Shea and Frank Willenburg. There were many floral offerings. Last evening the Rosary Society of St. Peter's Church, led by Father Quigley, called and recited the rosary. Interment was made in the family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery with final absolution at the grave pronounced by the Rev. Richard Burns.
