He completed Airborne & Special Forces training and volunteered for Special Operations with MACVSOG-SOG. He was listed as MIA on March 28, 1968 in Laos. His remains were repatriated and identified by DNA.
He was the son of Charles Boyer and Dorothy Boyer. He was survived by a sister.
Interment on June 22, 2016.
