From all records this researcher has looked at he was never married and had no children. I have not requested his will or probate records to confirm this though. When I was a child growing up in Sacramento, I saw this grave and wondered if he was a family member of ours that we did not know of. After many years of work, he is a very distant relative, we share Grandparents "William Hamby, b. 24 Aug 1703, St. Georges, Baltimore, Maryland and Martha Simpson"

The following grave information comes from the Cemetery Sexton in 1990. Burial is in The Old Masonic Section - GAR Plot - Plot: 4, Row: 2, Grave: 13.
From another researcher she says he is buried in the Masonic Lawn Cemetery in: Sect:I Lot:73 Gr:9
((Hopefully I will be able to check on this again in 2013 when I am there visiting family again.))
