Adam Breidenbach was a 38 year old Carpenter living in Philadelphia when he enlisted on October 31 1861 as a Private of Company I, 75th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment. He was 5'10" with light complexion, light hair and grey eyes. He drowned in the Shenandoah River, Virginia on a capsized ferry boat which claimed the lives of many men of I and K company.
