In Santa Clara, CA May 15, 2001. Beloved husband of 27 years to Margaret L. Bash, loving father of Kelley Bash, Kimberly Bash Davis, Gregory Bash, Robert Bash, Jr., Jim Burdick, John Burdick and Jerry Burdick. Dear father-in-law of Mikie, Claire and Jodie Burdick, Carrie Bash and Vic Davis. Loving grandfather of ten, great-grandfather of one. Robert was born in Cedar Rapids, IA, grew up in Vallejo, CA, and was a long-time resident of Santa Clara. Robert was loved and will be missed by all his friends and family. Robert retired as a Captain of the Santa Clara Police Department after 25 years of service. In 1971 he graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Also a proud member of 11 years in the American Legion Post #419. No services.
