Born in Millville, she has been a lifelong Pitman resident. A housewife, Martha enjoyed gardening and the beach at the Jersey shore. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Martha is survived by 2 sons, Harry T. of Wilmington, DE and Martin E. of Pitman; 4 daughters, Barbara J. Convery (Fran) of Glassboro, Sandra L. Paley (Howard) of Florida, Earleen Austin of Cape May and Jayne M. Sharpless (Bob) of Elk Twp.; 9 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 11:00 AM in MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 43 N. Delsea Drive, Glassboro, NJ, where friends may call and visit with the family after 9:00 AM. Burial will be in Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.
