MARATHON, Fla — Warren O. Price, Jr., of 339 Sombrero Beach Road in Marathon, Florida, died peacefully Friday morning, Oct. 2, 2015.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Warren was enlisted with the Navy for three years during the Korean War. Later, he worked as an iron worker for Electric Boat and Chicago Bridge & Iron. His job took him all over the world from South Africa to the Philippines to Borneo.

Warren loved to ride his motorcycle, his boat that took him to the reef to scuba dive, his kayak, his bicycle, and the thrill of life. Warren was a devoted Methodist and donated much of his time to the church and helping members of the congregation.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marylyn J. Price of Piqua, Ohio; two sons, Walter Price and Richard Price; daughter Kimberly LaPorte; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Marathon Community United Methodist Church located at 3010 Overseas Hwy, Marathon, Florida, at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015.
