Consuelo Abrique Golloso, 87, of Carpentersville, Ill., passed away on Fri., June 24, 2016 at Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Ill. Consuelo was born in the Philippines on Nov. 5, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Crispen and Celestina (Malate) Abrique.
Consuelo was a resident of the area for the past 30 years and was a member of St. Monica Church in Carpentersville. She was a very talented seamstress and dressmaker.
Survivors include her children, Griselda (the late Jack) Virgin, Zenaida Seyler, Allan Golloso, Maria (Frank) Murchison and Alex Golloso. Consuelo is also survived by her 32 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Consuelo was preceded in death by her husband, Justino, and her six sons, Ray, Danny, Joel, Emmanuel, Jovan and Renaldo.
Visitation will be held on Fri., July 1, 2016, at St. Monica Church, Carpentersville from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. Rev. Carlos Monsalve will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dundee Township East Cemetery, East Dundee.
