Vanessa A. Abel, 55, of East Haven passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury on Friday October 5, 2012. Vanessa was born in New Haven on January 6, 1957, daughter of the late Elmer and Margery DeLeo Boone. She is survived by her sisters Marie Pascale and Tina Boone both of East Haven, Patricia Trash and her husband Joseph of Florida and her brother Daniel Boone of West Virginia. Vanessa also leaves behind her nieces and nephews: Mary Ann, Tara, Crazina, Megan, Susan, Danny, Michelle, Joseph, Elmer, Margaret, Dawn, Michael, Krysta, Tricia, Shawn and Christina. She was predeceased by her two sisters Rita Braham and Sheila Boone both of West Haven.
A graveside service will be held at St. Bernard’s Cemetery Saturday morning at 11am.
