Patrick Edward Couture, 77, of Roxboro, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Detroit, MI, Mr. Couture was the son of the late Wilfred Couture and Dorothy Gouine Couture.

Mr. Couture retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer, worked at CP&L, and later retired from GlaxoSmithKline. He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Donnie Couture and sister, Sandy Johnson.

Surviving are his wife, Norma Jean Carver Couture of the home; two daughters: Pam Couture Clayton and husband, Darryl of Timberlake and Patti Couture Gentry and husband, Phillip of Timberlake; two grandsons: Kyle Gentry and fiancé, Audrey and Jeremy Gentry.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Theresa Baptist Church by the Rev. Herbert Brown. Military graveside rites will follow in the church cemetery.
