Erskine M Phelps was a noted Chicago industrialist who collected Napoleonic Memorabilia which he donated to the University of Chicago Library. He was also a founder of the Iroquois Club of Chicago and President 1853-55. Helped the western Trade of Phelps, Dodge, and Palmer of Chicago. (as per contributor Joanna Case )
