Elaine married Michael O'Connor, October 12, 1963. They resided in Whitelaw until moving to Green Bay in 1995. Elaine shared a deep bond with her grandchildren and cherised the time she spent with them. She was an avid reader and was also known for her excellent cooking and baking skills which she passed on to her children. Elaine also enjoyed working on her flower beds, which were always so beautiful!
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Michael and their 3 children. Elaine is also survived by her 3 grandchildren; sister; 2 sisters-in-law; brothers and sisters-in-law; special cousin; 4 Godchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. She is further survived by her constant companion "Cooper", who was always at her side.
In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert and Richard Theisen; father and mother-in-law, Ervin and Mabel O'Connor; 2 brothers-in-law, Eugene Mezera and John O'Connor and 2 sisters-in-law, JoAnn and Ann O'Connor.
Visitation will be held at ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CATHEDRAL (140 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay), Saturday, July 2, 2016 from 9:30AM to 10:45AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11AM with Rev. John Girotti officiating, Msgr. James Feely concelebrating and Deacon Tom Mahoney assisting. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc, at a later date.
