Mona M. Brammer 102, of Ironton, Ohio died peacefully Monday, June 27, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
She was born January 4, 1914, in Lawrence County, Ohio, to the late Joseph and Flora Moore Wineka. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley G. Brammer; brothers, Roy, Harland and Garland Wineka; and sisters, Ethel Davidson and Della Segraves.
Mona was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Ironton; and retired after 22 years of service as a seamstress at Ashland Craft.
Survivors include a son, Emmett Brammer and wife Louise of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Geneva Kelly and husband, Jay C., of Columbus, OH; a sister, Emogene Rowe of East Liverpool, OH; two grandchildren, Pamela Kelly and Ronnie Kelly and wife, Helen; and two great grandchildren, Rachel Kelly and Stephanie Katona.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Ironton, with Pastors Matt O’Bryant & Mark Holderby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215.
