Charles "Chuck" was born on May 8, 1923, in Eastern Colorado. He spent his childhood and attended school in Arriba, Colorado, where he met his future wife, Dorothy (Hulse). Chuck and Dorothy were married on March 7, 1943.

He was then drafted into the Army Air Corps on August 2, 1944.

After the War, he worked for the Dept. of the Interior in Lamar, Pueblo, and Meeker, Colorado. In 1978, he retired to Clifton, Colorado to run a small farm and pear orchard.

He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church and enjoyed being active in the Clifton Lions' Club.

Chuck is survived by daughters: Gloria Brady (Bill); Linda Phillips and Diane Keliher; grandchildren: Chris Phillips, Jon Brady (Anna), Catherine Heinz (Jason), and Emily Babinowich (Scott); and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; and half-brother, Marion Keliher.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at Crossroads UMC, 599 30 Road, on July 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
