He leaves to cherish his memory his parents Horace E. and Pearlie B Bonner; a son Isaiah Bonner of Chillicothe, OH; one brother, Desi L. Bonner of Portsmouth, VA; one niece, Lynette Bonner of Jacksonville, FL; four aunts; Inez Chandler of Aberdeen MD, Darlene Dawson (John Ed) of Winter Park, FL; Ethel Harper of Raleigh, NC; Lois Dawson of Creedmoor, NC; two uncles, James R. Bonner of Greenville, NC; Willie Gaskins, Sr. of Raleigh, NC; a great uncle, Gilbert Campbell of Vanceboro, NC; three great aunts, host of cousins other relatives and friends.
Funeral Friday 11 a.m. New Bethel Baptist Church by Bishop J.M. Whitaker. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, VA. The family will be at his parents residence. The body will be in church at 10 a.m. Fisher Funeral Home, 1520 Effingham Street, Portsmouth, VA.

CHILLICOTHE: Don L. Bonner, 55, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at his home, unexpectedly.
Don was born in Brooklyn NY to Horace and Pearlie Allen Bonner. He was employed at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in the food service department. He was a US Army veteran.
Funeral services will be scheduled with the Fisher Funeral Home, Portsmouth, Virginia, next week. Local arrangements are by the Haller Funeral Home.
