David Howell Seelbach 85, of Aledo passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 29, 2016 with his family by his side. Dave was born December 16, 1930 in Mountain View, OK to Jasper and Ethel Young Seelbach. He grew up working on the family cotton farm and enjoyed his Kubota tractor whether mowing or tilling a friend or neighbors new garden. Dave retired from Wilsey foods which allowed him to spend more quality time with his wife of 64 years Maidee. They both enjoyed hunting and fishing or sometimes simply watching television with their feet propped up.
David is survived by his wife Maidee Opal Seelbach; daughter Mary Sack of Aledo; son Jimmy Seelbach and his wife Dorothy of Alvarado; sister Betty Jean Suitor of Yukon, OK and brother Clifford Seelbach of Rocky, OK. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister Louise Hilburn and brother Thomas Seelbach.
Funeral Service 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Interment Annetta Cemetery. Don Webster will officiate. Visitation 2-4pm Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
