NORTH ATTLEBORO – Adelyn (Cloutier) Bell, 98, a lifelong resident of North Attleboro passed away Monday, May 30, 2016. She was the wife of the late Thomas H. Bell who died in 1967.

Born February 9, 1918 in North Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Aurius and Eva (Precourt) Cloutier.

Adelyn was a graduate of North Attleboro High School and worked for nearly 50 years at the Whiting & Davis Co. in Plainville before retiring. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, knitting and crocheting and taking long walks around town.

Adelyn leaves a daughter Marjorie Pierce and her husband William of Wrentham; two sons Lawrence Bell of Florida and Stephen Bell of North Attleboro; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was sister of the late Aldor Cloutier, Jeannette Benoit, Yvonne Turinese and her twin sister, Evelyn Durand.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, 14 Park Street, North Attleboro. Burial will be held privately at the Wrentham Center Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Adelyn’s name to the Madonna Manor Resident Activities Fund, 85 North Washington Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.
