He was born in Oshkosh on May 10, 1900, son of Walter and Anna Rand, and was married here to Miss Mary Wiatrowski on Nov. 22, 1922.
Mr. Rand had been self-employed as an interior decorator. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church and Brotherhood of the Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mary; two daughters, Mrs. Howard Kehl, Neenah, and Mrs. Betty Saray, Oshkosh; his mother in Oshkosh; one brother, Albert Rand, Oshkosh; one sister, Mrs. Edmund Grabner, Oshkosh, and four grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert H. Herder officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
Friends may call at Marquardt Funeral Home Thursday from 4-9 p.m. A memorial has been established, to which friends may contribute.
