In earlier years, she taught school in Clinton County rural schools and in Oxford Junction. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Lost Nation and the Massillon Community Club. She enjoyed being outdoors and gardening.
She is survived by 2 sisters, Avis (Murray) Patterson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Donna Zeller of Wheatland; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bob & Doreen Hamdorf of Lowden, Arlene Ruchotzke of Lost Nation and Virgil & Bonnie Hamdorf of Massillon and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
