Marian was a homemaker and a member of at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Oxford Junction, and she liked to play bingo.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Shedek of Oxford Junction; 3 daughters, Barbara (Gerald) Brauer of Wheatland, Gerre (James) Zaruba of Des Moines, and Wendy (Andrew) Nowachek of Overland Park, Kansas; 2 sons, Gary Shedek and Charles (Pat) Shedek, both of Cedar Rapids; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Margaret Ramsey of Davenport and Jean Jorgenson, and one brother, Clarence Jorgenson
Marian was preceded in death by one son, Lester and two granddaughters.
