LINCOLN (PNS) --- Malvina P. Hoblit, 102, one of Lincoln's oldest residents, died at 12:15 p.m. Friday at St. Clara's Manor. Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Father Jerry Miller officiating. Burial will be in [Old] Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Holland and Barry Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be at 4:30 p.m.
She was born March 24, 1877 in Springfield, Ohio, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Pretzman. She married James Edward Hoblit Sept. 24, 1901. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two nephews and one niece. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
