MRS. JOSEPH ZETTLE, MAPLEWOOD, DIES; FUNERAL TODAY

MAPLEWOOD- Mrs. Joseph Zettle, 86, who has lived in this vicinity for 65 years, died at her home from an attack of the flu Tuesday after an illness of a week. The body was taken to the Stoneman funeral home in Sawyer, and arrangements were made to have the services this Friday morning from St. Mary's church here with the Rev. Fr. Daniels officiating.
Mrs. Zettle, former Theresa Stueber, was a native of Bohemia and came to this country as a girl. She was married at Manitowoc to Joseph Zettle in 1871, and the couple went to live on the latter's homestead in Forestville Township. Twenty-five years ago, the couple came to this village, selling their farm to their son Anton. Mr. Zettle died in December 1925.
All of the children were at the bedside when death came. They are Michael, Cedar River; Margaret, Frank, Anton, and George, all of Maplewood and vicinity; and Katherine and Ann of Chicago.
