KATHLEEN M. PAUTZ
Kathleen M. (Katie) Pautz, (nee Scheuer), age 72, of 124 Riverwood Drive,
Mishicot, passed on to eternal life early Saturday morning, Oct. 18, 2003
at Gordon Hospital, in Calhoun, Ga., while returning from vacation in
Florida.
Funeral serives will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 24, 20003 at Holy
Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. The Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated by the Rev. John C. Neuser, with burial to follow in Holy Cross
Catholic Cemetery, Mishicot.
Kathleen was born Dec. 1, 1930 in Mishicot to the late Irvin and Gertrude
(Hoff) Scheuer. She attended Holy Cross Catholic Grade School, and graduated
from Mishicot High School with the class of 1948. Katie, as she was
affectionately called, married Vernon Pautz on June 2, 1951 at Holy Cross
Catholic Church, Mishicot. She was employed part-time at Mirro Aluminum in
Two Rivers and Manitowoc for many years, until retiring in 1970 to dedicate
her life to being the best mom she could to her children and loving wife to
her husband.
She loved the Green Bay Packers and was the center of life for her family,
especially at Christmas. She had a passion for life that was unequalled, as
demonstrated by her courageous battles and victories over cancer. She was a
devoted member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
(Survivors omitted for privacy.); many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives
and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, Katie was preceded in death by one grandson: Steven;
her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Walter and Louise Pautz Sr.; two brothers:
John and Francis (Frank) Scheuer; and two brothers-in-law: Edward Juckem and
Albert Hansen.
Friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot, after 9 a.m. on Friday,
until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
In lieu of flowers, other expressions of sympathy may be made to the Wisconsin
Lions Foundation or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, is assisting the Pautz family with
funeral arrangements.
