WAYNESBORO, PA - A one-car accident 1.5 miles south of here resulted in the death of two Hagerstown Residents at 3 am Sunday.

Leroy Alton Henderson, 24, 651 Pennsylvania Ave, and Sandra Kay Guessford, 212 Willard St, were burned to death after the car they were riding in failed to negotiate a curve.
Four other occupants of the car suffered minor injuries were taken to the Waynesboro Hospital and released.

Sandra Guessford was born in Hagerstown, the daughter of Mrs Bertha Grove Guessford and the late Paul L Guessford.

She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, and was a junior at North Hagerstown High School.

Surviving are her mother; three brothers, Robert, Medina, Ohio; Larry, Hagerstown; and Donald at home; one sister, Mrs Brenda Zeger, Hagerstown; maternal grandfather, William A Grove, Hagerstown; and step-grandmother, Mrs Jennie Guessford, Williamsport.

Services at Minnich Funeral Home on Tuesday at 2 pm with the Rev Ronald McClung officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
