Marty Joe Amundson, 47, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday at his home.
Marty was born in Lebanon to Eugene and Frances (Miller) Amundson.
He attended Liberty Grade School and Sweet Home Junior High and High School. He worked in the area at several jobs until he joined the union 15 years ago and had worked in construction since then.
Marty was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, a little fishing, gold panning and metal detecting. His family and friends will have many happy memories of various hunting trips that were enjoyed throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Amundson, on Aug. 17. He was greatly loved and will greatly be missed.
