Raymond C. Rush, 43, prominent Washington township farmer, died suddenly Sunday evening of a heart attack at his residence on R. 3, Logansport. Born Jan. 30, 1917 in Cass County, he was the son of Charles L. and Ruth Yeakley Rush. His marriage was to Carol Schwalm and she survives. Rush was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church near Walton; was a member of the Farm Bureau and had been very active in Cass county 4-H club work. Surviving besides the widow are four sons; James, Dean, Stanley and Steven, all at home; his father, Charles, of R. 3, Logansport; a brother Ralph, of near Walton and three sisters, Mrs. Wilma Smith, Lafayette; Mrs. Shirley Moss Logansport, ad Mrs. Martha Martin, of R. 3 Logansport. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at the Union Presbyterian church near Walton. Burial will be in the Walton Cemetery.
