"Leola Waner"
Lifelong Enumclaw resident Leola Ruth Waner, 67, died Oct. 30, 2002. She was born Sept. 30, 1935, in Buckley.
She was a visiting nurse with the Visiting Nurse Service of King County, from which she retired after 25 years. She was a member of the Happy Horizon Homemakers and Covenant Celebration Church of Tacoma. She collected Beanie Babies and loved socializing and playing bunko.
She is survived by son Kent Waner and wife Carol Bosik of Cumberland; daughter Paula Anderson and husband Dan of Buckley; three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband Edgar in May 2000 and son Nickolas in September 1999.
Internment will be at 2 p.m. today, Nov 6, at Buckley City Cemetery with the Rev Ross Holtz officiating.
Services were directed by Weeks' Whitmore Funeral Home in Buckley. Memorials may be made to Francan Hospice, 1717 South J Street, Tacoma, Wash., 98405."
