Romeo Junior Womick died Sunday, April 6, 1997 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Native of Cherokee County, SC and son of the late Joel Flakley and Maebelle Petty Womick. Retired textile employee and attennded Westside Baptist Church of Cowpens. Survivors included: his wife, Marjorie Carter Womick; two daughters; three sisters; two brothers; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren.
