BENTON DAVIS WARE SHOALS Benton Wesley Davis, 64, a resident of 5 Smith St., died Tuesday at his home.

He was a native of Abbeville County and a son of the late Claude Wesley and Jennie Vieve Black well Davis. He was a retired employee of Duke Power Co., a veteran of World War II and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Linnie Belle Martin Davis of the home; a son, Michael Andrew Davis of Greenwood; three brothers, Jerry W. Davis of Ware Shoals, Alfred Jackson Davis of Waterloo and Barnette B. Davis of Deltona, Fla. ; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Frances Bishop of Canoga Park, Calif., Mrs. Bernice D. EzeU of Ware Shoals, Mrs. Polly Stallcup of Mauldin and Mrs. Molly Bagwell of Greenville; two grandchildren.

Funeral services were today at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Compton officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers were Olin Boggs, Dean Ricketts, Herman McKee, Earl Brashier, Haskell EzeU, Charlie Campbell, Pitts Camak Jr., and Butler Koon. Parker-White Funeral Home was in charge. Memorials may be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church.
