Henry Ladd Carver was the son of Ralph W. Carver and Relief Electa Ladd. He was a Brevet Lieutenant Colonel, Company G, 6th Minnesota Infantry Regiment, Civil War, 1862-1865. Member of the Minnesota State House of Representatives. One time owner of the Pioneer Press Newspaper. Husband of Marietta Ashley, father of Nellie. Henry was a Lawyer.
