Marguerite Eileen Wisniewski passed away today, July 11, 2016 at her home. Visitation will be from 10:00- 11:00 a.m. with rosary being said at 10:40 a.m. followed immediately by the funeral at St. Patrick's Church in Kankakee. Father John Peeters will officiate.
Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Wisniewski was a homemaker. She was born May 6, 1921 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Frank Oliver and Marguerite Ann Stein Abell. Mom was a quiet and loving soul who loved God and Family above all else.
Preceding her in death was her husband Edward Adam Wisniewski, whom she married January 19, 1952 at 14 Holy Martyrs Catholic Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Surviving are 5 sons, Robert Wisniewski of Momence, IL, Richard Wisniewski of Lithonia, GA, James Wisniewski of Bradley, IL, Donald (Patricia) Wisniewski of Springfield, IL, and Ronald Wisniewski of Kankakee, IL; 4 daughters, Janice Coates of Kankakee, IL, Joan (Mike) DeSelm of Omaha, NE., Barbara Viers of Boise, ID, and Carol (Steve) Kohon of Johnsburg, IL; One sister, Joan Mersinger of Berlin, MD; 23 grandchildren; 30 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are 4 brothers, Frank, Robert, Walter, and Bernard.
